Mesothelioma and Secondary exposure

Exposure to asbestos is the prime cause of causing mesothelioma. If a person directly exposed to asbestos, the chance of causing mesothelioma increases. There are many cases, where mesothelioma has occurred; even if the patient is not directly exposed to asbestos. In such cases the disease is occurred due to secondary exposure. Now we shall discuss about such secondary exposures that may cause mesothelioma. Firstly, the family members of the asbestos worker may affect by the asbestos. If they are living with him, there is an increasing risk of causing mesothelioma to them. If mesothelioma does not caused, other asbestos related disease may occur to them. Now question is how does it happen. The worker of asbestos industry or mine may bring fine fibers of asbestos with him to the home though his clothes; such particles while floating in the air easily get entry to our body. If you are working with any such industry, please leave the working clothes there in the factory. Secondly, the building sused asbestos may cause mesothelioma. If we are living in such houses or we go to such public buildings, which are made of asbestos may affect us. During the time of renovation of asbestos roof or any other flooring material may affect us directly. We may not have any clued regarding this, but the symptoms of mesothelioma appear years after. Use of asbestos has been banned in many developed countries including USA. Brown and blue asbestos are banned in many developed countries. The reason of such banning is to check secondary exposure. Thirdly, natural occurring asbestos may affect us, though we not directly exposed to any industry or mines of asbestos. In this case naturally Occurring Asbestos is the main culprit. Here we do not have any hand. However, we have to awaken the common people regarding the malignant affect of asbestos.
