Asbestos and Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is one form of cancer that particularly affect heart, lungs, abdomen and occasionally genital. In recent years the incidence of mesothelioma has increased. Asbestos can change the secretion ability of the macrophages; as a result a condition is created within our body to develop mesothelioma. It gradually affects DNA and makes the cells malignant. In another way asbestos is also carcinogenic. It has the property of suppressing immunization of our body. When it absolved by pour body, the natural killer cell of our body do not function properly. In another way asbestos also affect our body. It has the ability to alter our genetics. The above discuss makes it very clear that asbestos is the main culprit of causing mesothelioma. Therefore, it is most important for us to remain away from asbestos. If we become expose to asbestos today, it may appear in the form of mesothelioma after twenty years or more.
