In recent years the incidence of mesothelioma is on rise. The rate of such incidence of mesothelioma was about .097 per every 100,000 people in the year 2000. But gender wise, it has a different manifestation. For men the rate of incidence of mesothelioma is 1.8 and for women it is 0.4 for every 100,000 men and women respectively. The incidence of mesothelioma is not also evenly founding all states. The incidence of mesothelioma is higher in some region like San Francisco, Seattle and Atlanta. A stuffy also reveals that that incidence of mesothelioma is higher among males and race -wise it is higher among the whites. Mesothelioma can affect any organ of our body starting from heart, to lungs to abdominal cavity to genital and other parts of our body. At present this mesothelioma has appeared as danger to mankind and very soon it may appear as menace to our society.

As we have discussed above this mesothelioma can also occur in other organs of human body like abdomen, heart and genitals. According to research, the case of mesothelioma is found in the person who has the history of working with the dangerous material, asbestos. While working with such asbestos, they have to inhale the fine particles of asbestos, which instantly affect the lungs and heart. By the research it has been established that the smoking has no relation with mesothelioma. Therefore, in particular we have to avoid ourselves from using any asbestos to get rid of this menace.
